Solution Overview:
The system applies RFID technology to the cold chain transport monitoring system. Monitoring devices are installed in transport vehicles, consisting of a 2.4G RFID wireless receiver, a GPS global positioning device, and GPRS wireless data transmission. Each box or individual package is equipped with a temperature tag that measures real-time temperature and transmits it wirelessly via 2.4G to the monitoring device. The monitoring device then sends the item temperature and current vehicle location to the backend data monitoring center via GPRS.
